Disneyland launches digital advent calendar with fun activities behind each door

There's no need to fret that Disneyland Paris isn’t open this Christmas.

The popular theme park is bringing all of its magic online.

Until December 24, it is offering a free digital advent calendar during the festive season – and it’s bound to keep kids entertained.

Behind each door are fun activities like colouring pages, spot the difference puzzles, Disney performances and wintry recipes.

These will be hosted by family-favourite characters like Mickey Mouse.

Celebrities will also feature in the online Christmas countdown but we’ll have to wait and see to find out who they are.

It's bound to be just the fix you need until we can get travelling again!

Disneyland Paris bosses had hoped to reopen the theme park this month.

But unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic has pushed the return date back.

Tourists will have to wait until February 12, 2021, before they can visit the theme park again.

Those with existing bookings can reschedule their trips online.

The Disneyland Paris website explains: “While we were hoping to be able to reopen during the Christmas holiday season, the latest government measures announced for France do not allow us to deliver the Disneyland Paris experience and therefore the destination will remain closed until 12 February 2021.

“We look forward to welcoming you upon our reopening.

“In the meantime, if you have a booking with us during the period we are closed, please check for our latest commercial conditions.

“We thank you for your continued loyalty and understanding.”
