In a separate incident, a number of people were injured when a vehicle struck a lorry on Al Khawaneej Road.
“Traffic congestion due to multiple accidents on Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road after Dubai Al Ain Bridge towards Abu Dhabi, kindly take extra caution,” police said on Twitter. “Also traffic congestion on Sheikh Zayed Road on Al Manara bridge towards Abu Dhabi.”
