Oceania Cruises will debut four new restaurants on its upcoming ship, the Vista, slated to debut in early 2023.
The new eateries — Ember, Aquamar Kitchen, the Bakery at Baristas and the Culinary Center Dining Room — will be among the 12 restaurants on the 1,200-passenger Vista.
Ember, open for lunch and dinner, will serve “inventive American” cuisine with offerings such as braised short ribs with polenta and crab cakes with spicy aioli.
Aquamar Kitchen will serve wellness cuisine with cold-pressed juices, smoothies, organic power bowls and breakfast wraps. Lunch items will include salmon with quinoa tabouleh and yellowfin tacos with white cabbage slaw.
Oceania ships have long had a Culinary Center for cooking classes and demonstrations, but the Vista will debut its first Culinary Center Dining Room, an oceanview space for private-group dinners or one of the line’s food-and-wine pairing experiences.
Also adding a new twist on a familiar space, Oceania’s Baristas coffee bar will add a bakery serving freshly baked French and Italian pastries such as chocolate-almond croissants and bombolinis.
The other eateries on the ship will be familiar to Oceania cruisers, such as the Polo Grill steakhouse; Italian restaurant Toscana; and Red Ginger, the pan-Asian eatery.
Oceania recently revealed that the Vista will have the brand’s first cabins designed for single travelers.
The Vista will be the first of the Allura-class vessels under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. Its sister is scheduled to follow in 2025.
The Vista’s inaugural cruises will open for sale in September.
